Ruman Marinov is a former member of the Bulgarian military who is now associated with organized crime in the U.S.
He met G. Callen who was pretending to be Eugene Keelson but the deal went horribly wrong, resulting in Marinov's men being killed and Callen fleeing the scene.
Marinov and his men later tried to kill Andrew Werner, the CEO of Haupt Eisen, one of Germany's largest steel corporations but thanks to Callen warning his colleagues, Agents Sam Hanna, Kensi Blye and Mike Renko managed to stop Marinov.
Although Marinov escaped, his men were killed in the process.
Marinov tried one final time to kill Callen/Keelson in revenge for the man betraying him at a park where Callen was meeting the real Keelson but Sam intervened and shot Marinov twice in the chest, killing him.
